That's where ACTMOS comes in. Based on numerous tests and advice from prospective users, we offer scientifically validated shoes that are comfortable to feel.
Non-slip outer sole
ACTMOS's outer sole is an added layer of protection for your day, as it prevents slips and stumbles when worn in potentially slippery nvironments. Whether it's a spill on the ward, muddy grass, or just a well-polished floor, ACTMOS works hard to maintain friction with its unique sole pattern.
The ACTMOS Polymer is not the same as simple rubber or EVA. The material of your shoe is one of the most significant aspects of its performance and longevity, so we put a lot of thought into this aspect (and also made sure to think about our planet too).
FLEXIBILITY RIDGES
The horizontal ridges across the top of ACTMOS's instep are not just a random pattern, but a carefully thought-out feature designed to enhance the shoe's wearability.
Designed with varying thicknesses to allow flexible movement in coordination with your toes and foot bones, this ergonomic design feature means that ACTMOS will not become damaged or wear down more quickly in the areas where your foot naturally moves, as ACTMOS will move together with it.
No-leak vents
Breathability is vital when wearing the same pair of shoes all day long, but so is protection from liquid spills (which, depending on your job, can sometimes be a hazard!). We designed the triangular vent holes for ACTMOS specifically to prevent liquids from spilling onto the shoe and making you feel uncomfortable.
The flexibility ridges mentioned above also help to direct the flow of said liquids away from the openings, adding a double layer of protection for your feet (and socks!).
Ultra-wide Fit
ACTMOS's wide base allows your foot to sit comfortably within the shoe. It does not scrunch up your toes or add unnecessary pressure to your foot. Many shoes restrict the natural position of your foot, which can change the shape of your foot over time.
If you are a person who stands on your feet all day, discomfort stemming from poorly fitting shoes can be even more severe. Therefore, we wanted to ensure that every ACTMOS wearer stays comfortable. ACTMOS' wide fit provides ample space for your toes to move and sit in their natural position - just as Mother Nature intended.
Heel Strap
Allowing you to wear ACTMOS as slip-on shoes or as more secure shoes, the heel strap was a necessary addition to the shoe to increase wearability and ensure that our shoe was fit for purpose - be it a nurse in a hospital or someone in need of a comfy shoe for around the house.
The placement and angle of the heel strap have been specifically chosen to reduce the likelihood of blisters, friction, and discomfort on the heel bone. This was determined based on studies of the average bone placement and our wearability tests.
The ACTMOS Polymer
The ACTMOS Polymer is not the same as simple rubber or EVA. The material of your shoe is one of the most significant aspects of its performance and longevity, so we put a lot of thought into this aspect (and also made sure to think about our planet too).
ACTMOS is made from a unique polymer blend that we specially crafted. This ACTMOS polymer includes 34% bioplastic derived from corn and potatoes, and 5% biomass extracted from clam powder, offering significantly better slip resistance than rubber.
We designed ACTMOS to provide the most comfortable fit for nurses, doctors, and surgeons who stand on their feet for long periods of time, typically over 12-hour shifts. However, this does not mean that ACTMOS is exclusively for medical professionals.

We designed ACTMOS to provide the most comfortable fit for nurses, doctors, and surgeons who stand on their feet for long periods of time, typically over 12-hour shifts. However, this does not mean that ACTMOS is exclusively for medical professionals.
While ACTMOS aren't exactly sandals, we think they look wonderful when paired with our socks. These socks have a slight compression functionality, which boosts circulation in the legs - especially helpful for those who stand all day.

While some countries may offer free shipping, others will be charged extra due to the current international shipping environment (fees are at an all-time high). ACTMOS plans to ship via airmail to reduce product damage and long delivery wait times. However, depending on the location, delivery times may vary from the day of shipment. We can provide tracking information to sponsors upon request. We will post an update on the delivery schedule once the project is finished.
Our logistics partner will work hard to minimize additional costs upon arrival in the delivery country. This cannot be guaranteed. Under local import duties, taxes, or policies of your country, you will be responsible for paying additional costs incurred after the initial shipment of ACTMOS.
Due to the unpredictable nature and various policies of each country and shipping region, these fees cannot be covered in advance or included in the shipping fee. All sponsors are advised to double-check local policies regarding imports from other countries. Changes or reductions in declared prices, product types, or manufactured goods are not possible.
